Hi All I have a Fiat grande punto 2007 and recently experiencing this intermittent gearbox issue. I was driving the car for about 10-15 km without any issue and suddenly it stopped shifting to 1st 3rd and 5th gears. (Odd gears) only 2nd , 4th and Reverse are working. Can put to N and back to R. W

Hi I've just bought a 1.4 Dynamic semi auto 06 plate grande punto. On 70k . Previous owner said the gearbox was refurbished last year On start up it beeps profusely at me. And trying to select neutral seems like pot luck. Stir the stick around and maybe it will find neutral.

Nothing but trouble with this Punto. Multiple window regulators, poor interior build quality, gearbox that fails after 80,000? I have a Toyota Landcruiser that has done over 300,000km and has only ever had minor servicing. Other smaller Toyota family cars have done similar. Fiat = Cheap, nasty and poor after sales service. Never, ever again.
